Every dollar matters to Cedarhurst.

Do you support art and culture in our community? From gallery exhibitions to school lessons to community programs and special events, Cedarhurst offers diverse programming to serve the diverse audiences in southern Illinois.

We are a first-rate, nationally accredited museum, but we need your help to keep us that way. Every year, Cedarhurst must raise over $700,000 to provide programs that inspire all ages.

As a nonprofit organization, we seek the help of regional businesses and individuals to support these efforts and help offset our costs. Support Cedarhurst's Annual Program Fund by making a donation today!

The GALA combines the talents of two organizations to raise money for The Arts in southern Illinois. The title is an acronym for the concept: Giving through Art | Learning through Art. Proceeds are split between Cedarhurst Center for the Arts and SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation.

In 2017 more than 130 people attended the inaugural event, raising more than $70,000. Proceeds helped renovate Cedarhurst's Beck Family Center, a place where families can create, play and connect; and helped SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital launch Compassion Unleashed, a program that provides hope and healing through art, music and pet therapies.

Proceeds from the 2018 event will help SSM further develop its therapy programs, while Cedarhurst will use its portion to champion projects in the sculpture park, part of the new Kimball's Habitat campaign.
